LAX Now Offering One Hour PCR Tests
April 23, 2021

Good news, fellow LA travelers! If you're a frequent traveler, LAX is now offering COVID-19 test results in less than an hour. In a recent article by CBS Los Angeles titled:
"LAX Launches COVID-19 PCR Testing Sites With Results in Less Than 1 Hour" the CEO of Los Angeles World Airports, Justin Erbacci, says LAX is once again leading the way in airport innovation by implementing a one-hour rapid PCR test which provides passengers access to dependable and accurate rapid testing solutions.
For $199, the one-hour PCR test is located at the Tom Bradley International Terminal and at ticket counters C01-C05 on the Upper/Departures Level. Make sure to keep in mind when booking your flights that it is only available between 7:00 am and 7:00 pm.
Nevertheless, the one-hour PCR test isn't the only option LAX is offering. The airport offers a slightly cheaper PCR option at the Tom Bradley International Terminal and Terminal 2 at the cost of $125 and can expect results in three to five hours. At Terminal 6, travelers can opt for the $80 nasal-swab antigen test from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and expect results in 30-60 minutes.
